Building a photography website

I'm genuinely curious about photography, and everything related to it. Be it organising photo exhibitions, Large format photography, and even video making. I guess the fun part is the exploration, more specifically a journey of discovering self.

And here I'm building this site. I have other sites, but never had I gotten my hands dirty. Luckily, website development isn't as complex as I'd anticipated. No programming skill is needed, and I'm extremely grateful.

I'm spoiled, I know only "click and play". And here at Shopify, it is exactly just that.

But learning to navigate what the platform has to offer, takes time. There are unspeakable amount of features you could do with your website, it's easy to get lost in the sea of "possibilities".

From what I've learned, there are two main infrastructures: front layout design, and back inventory. Front design is what you see when you landed on the page. Back inventory is quite literally the inventory record of what you're selling, which also includes the photos you wish to display.

Took me a long time just to realise that.
