Writing improves your Photography

The intrinsic purpose of Photography, IMO, is communication. A photo, a book, a painting, a video, a logo, or even a song, they all fundamentally serve as a bridge between the author and the audience. To convey a message, or telling a story that hopefully, would stir up the audience's emotions, or keeping them entertained even momentarily.

Or at least be able to write what's on your mind. Have the guts to express whatever you feel without having to worry about others.

I hated writing back in my school days. And together with the Public Speaking, they were two of my least favourite subjects.

Communicating had never been easy for me, it still is today. And this is where Blogging comes into play. I have been consistently writing Chinese blog over at Threads for more than a year. And yes, it helps a great deal. I hope going bi-lingual would speed up the learning curve.

Being expressive through words, image or sound, is a whole new level of skill. To be able to create poetically is therefore,  Art.

I wish to improve my Photography, I want to be expressive, I want to be coherent. So I'm writing and also shooting.
